Not sure how you do it, but each title gets better than the last! And I have loved them all.Thank you so much.
Hi Barbara,
I’ve just finished reading this book and it is absolutely superb. It moved me in ways I cannot express in words. Thank you so much for writing such an awesome book. I can’t wait to get my hands on your other books.
Keep those books coming!!
More than halfway through, and love it. Picked it up as a “good to go” book at our library while waiting…
So impressed with how you drop in little hints that fill the gaps and completes the picture.
Plan to get the other books, and will have to buy this myself to keep the recipes! I’m a bread baker, too, although haven’t used sourdoughs for a long time.
I love it when that happens! Hope you will let me know if you bake any of the breads.
We, on the Cherry Forums, are looking forward to discussing HTBAPL ! Feb 15-21 here :

What a lovely book! I was fascinated by the whole mother-daughter subject, as my mother is an extremely critical and emotionally unavailable woman. Loved all the characters and couldn’t put it down!
Beth, I think a lot of us have known the kind of mother you describe, whether in our own lives or around us somewhere.
Beth, that’s an experience so many women have had. So glad you enjoyed it.
Jodi, thanks so much for posting that! Wonderful
Hi Barbara,
Here is a comment by reviewer M.L. Johnson (Associated Press)from the Arizona Republic newspaper on Sunday, Dec. 26th.
‘The beauty of O’Neal’s novel is in its recognition that sometimes good things happen alng with the bad and that those chances at happiness -whether they’re baking bread or falling in love – cannot be pushed off to a more convenient moment without the risk of loss.’
Just thought I’d share. I’m really looking forward to reading this book.
P.S. I was a delighted participant in your last class on ‘Voice’.
